RE: Episode 5 Discussion
I liked Episode 4 better. Was much more fast paced.....
and yes we have seen the rogue agent theme before. Spooks seems to be rehashing plots a bit too much, but it is still great TV.

Why is Lucas so dumb? Is it because all the blood has rushed from his head to the other "head"? Why sleep with her for one last time?!? Thud

So she wouldn't know he suspected her of anything. It was a trap to get her talking and maybe find out what was going on. And Harry basically told him to -- "There's only one way to find out."

"What is the truth?"
"Betrayal is a cancer. Let it eat your soul, not mine."
"Please tell me this isn't going where I think it's going."

Something spooks are good at.
Spoiler: show
Lucas told Sarah of coleville's involvement(or actually the lack of it) to see what she comes up with

RE: Episode 5 Discussion
A pretty great episode, despite my problems with the revelation of Coleville's motivations. I thought it was a pretty big letdown after so much build-up.

I too thought Ros was a goner, but she showed steely resolve the whole way. Hermoine Norris is so perfect. Lucas had some great moments, and I am SO glad they've finally sniffed out Sarah.

On the subject of Harry and Ruth, I hate to say it, but my interest in their romance has never been that high, so I'm kind of glad they aren't spending a whole lot of screentime with that side plot. If it comes up again later, fine. But I personally don't need it in every episode, so I was fine with how it played out here.

I was afraid to say it. It was cute when it started but unless the writers have been very clever, I'm not hyperventilating for a hookup.

Rooftop scene:
Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away.
Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!"

Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas."

RE: Episode 5 Discussion
Have just watched it and I thought that it was probably the best of the series so far. I loved the bit when Ros and Coleville were chasing each other!! My beautiful nails are now bitten to shreds!!! Very tense, I thought the atmosphere was like something out of a horror film. But I thought the bit when Coleville shot himself was a bit predictable.

And I also don't get why Harry was deing so nice to Ros, throughout the whole episode. He wouldn't listen to Lucas last week in an issue where he was personally involved!

And I love the character of Sarah sooo much now!!! And I am not complaining about why Lucas slept with her, at least we got to see him topless again Wink

ros
Death by mascara. It was horrible to watch. Ruth's agonizing over the fact that there are no more horses in modern-day warfare and Adam's on a course learning how to lift his knuckles off the ground. So, you'll have to make do with me, I'm afraid.

RE: Episode 5 Discussion
I'm feeling the Lucas love! But in this episode he was not a very good agent (although he was gorgeous in that leather outfit). He lost Ros who almost got killed, he lost that guy he was supposed to meet at exit 19 who did get killed, and he called out to Sarah and nearly got her killed. Still, he looked fine. Smile
