RE: Wish List for Season 9
One of my biggest wishes for Series 9 is somewhat superficial....
I wish for the cast to have a much bigger wardrobe! How many times can they wear the same clothes??? I am sure real mi-5 officers can at least afford to wear different clothes... |

RE: Wish List for Season 9
Very true!
*cough*Ruth and the blue shirt*cough* I'd quite like to see some light-coloured clothes in the mix there - surely it can't all be doom and gloom?! This is one of the few occasions when I miss Sam and her baby pink attire Av & sig by TygerBright, using my screencaps |

RE: Wish List for Season 9
Really? I actually find that quite realistic. They work so much, it's not like they have more than 5 outfits if they're lucky. No time to shop and barely any time to do laundry.
Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Wish List for Season 9
I'd like to see some more fashionable clothing on the show. The men seem to do alright, well Lucas does ). Just the women's all seem so plain, I mean I am not expecting it from Ruth and I know they're spies so they have to blend it but still don't see why it can't hurt for me to have a few nice shoes to ogle whilst I am watching Although that said SM's character looks like she will have a nice wardrobe - I have a thing for trench coats

RE: Wish List for Season 9
I'm not sure I mind what people wear. Poor Ruth's only belongings were contained in a single bag at the start of S8. I doubt she had much designer gear in there and couldn't really go shopping down Oxford Street, as she was supposed to be dead. As for Lucas and Ros, they wear non-descript clothing so they don't stand out in a crowd. They are also not premier league footballers, and their salaries are probably a pittance being in the civil service. This is Spooks not Dynasty.

RE: Wish List for Season 9
Yeah, I'll go with that. I still think they're way better than anything Ruth or Zoe was wearing in seasons 1 and 2 - some of Zoe's stuff in season 3 was pretty nice.
Really, I'm not fussed about the threads. Although I must admit Series season9 Spoiler: show Personally, I just don't want Ruth to return to purple eyeshadow and that almost animal like white jacket. They did a good job of ageing her though, which I suppose they needed. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Wish List for Season 9
They can't stand out in a crowd, so their clothes can't be too flashy. I like Ros' outfits.
Thankfully Ruth's clothes have changed and her make up!! "Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt" Pactum serva |

RE: Wish List for Season 9
I am not talking about the cast having a wardrobe to top "Sex in the city" , but something other than a blue button down shirt and blue jeans (ahem, Lucas). Everyday? Really?

RE: Wish List for Season 9
I liked Fiona's outfits - she didn't necessarily stand out but she did look chic and cool.
Zoe's outfits in s3 although they looked oldfashioned now, were current at the time. It remind of the books by Stella Rimington, Liz Carlyle wears things apparently not in keeping with the rest of the office and if there is a regular young woman such as it looks in the cast it would be nice to have something like that. Afterall most young women, even spies I'm sure, are fashion savvy and rightly so! And Sophia Myles is beautiful and young so deserves a flattering wardrobe
Death by mascara. It was horrible to watch. Ruth's agonizing over the fact that there are no more horses in modern-day warfare and Adam's on a course learning how to lift his knuckles off the ground. So, you'll have to make do with me, I'm afraid. |
