Why introduce a new Spook, just use the brilliant one you've got! That's a pretty good quote. "Why introduce a new Spook, just use the brilliant one you've got!" RE: Ros' introduction to the team
Let's try and keep on topic people.
To be fair to Ros, I don't think she knew exactly what her father was doing, or how he was doing it. So seconding her from MI6 isn't totally strange. lol. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

RE: Ros' introduction to the team
Sorry, I seriously forgot which topic it was!
She may not have known what her father was doing, but she can't have been stupid. I think she would have had suspicions, but preferred not to know. DANNY - Placements all over the shop. RE: Ros' introduction to the team
I always wondered whether Ros was based on the Angela character from S4.10. A brilliant female spook: totally uncompromising and ultimately flawed.
Her introduction demonstrated how far she was prepared to go but also that she had boundaries. Although she brought her father down eventually, he remained her Achilles heel as we also saw in ep4 and 5 of S5 and when she was recruited by Yalta. |

RE: Ros' introduction to the team
I forgot, but was Ros at MI6 or was she something else?

RE: Ros' introduction to the team
I was watching series 5 again and I forgot about something that Ros did that I didn't like. I know adam wasn't the most mentally fit, but it was wrong of ros to get his records from the doctor!
The man said he was seeking help and he apologized for his actions! Geez Oh and I forgot to add that I think on some level, Ros really wanted/felt she deserved Adam's job. |

I know adam wasn't the most mentally fit, but it was wrong of ros to get his records from the doctor! Wasn't she Adam's equivalent in MI6? I think HN or RPJ mentioned it in an interview. The Personnel Files book said she always wanted to be the leader and disliked being a team member (or something like that). I think we saw that when she really stepped up as team leader in S7. It was hard to understand her motivation in getting his medical records. On the one hand, yes it was sneaky and you could say she was deliberately undermining him. On the other hand, she knew he was lying and he was potentially putting himself and the operation at risk. Ros had risked her life going in to rescue him in episode 8. Did she understood her motivations properly? I think she was attracted to Adam professionally and personally and that wasn't something she was used to. It made her actions inexplicable. |

RE: Ros' introduction to the team
Yes, I think she was.
Ros definitely is a leader, and not a team player. And I think relating to Adam's medical records, it was the right decision. He had a problem that was affecting his work, and he should have made others aware. DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it.
