RE: Favorite Episode?
I loved the one where Tessa's ex came back. That storyline has really stayed with me all nine series! Also 1.2 was very good and terrifying especially as I had never seen Kevin. R. McNally in anything where we wasn't a pirate before.

RE: Favorite Episode?
It has to be episode 2 of series 1 for me. This episode showed what spooks is all about and that British drama could be as gritty and shocking as american drama. I think why it was so shocking is that at the time british people were not used to that level of violence on tv as opposed to americans where it is part of the norm for their tv programmes.

RE: Favorite Episode?
I have to say episode 6 was my favorite. It was exciting and the cliffhanger was emotional. I also thought Tom's role in the episode was really interesting (esp. his interactions with McCall). Great episode .

I haven't seen many British programs (just Spooks and Foyle's War and a little bit of the British version of The Office), but that is pretty interesting. The gore and graphic content on American programs has become pretty ingrained (though sometimes I think they overdo it). I agree with you that its become the norm. Criminal Minds, CSI NY (well actually all of the CSIs...), and 24 have a lot of violence and graphic content. Sorry if I went a bit off-topic there. I just found the comparison to be interesting. I agree that episode 2 of series 1 was pretty gritty and showed that no character is safe on the show. I like how the show is willing to push boundaries and take lots of risks. |

RE: Favorite Episode?
6 was brilliant but 1.4 has the best line when Danny wants praise from Harry and Harry says to him "What do you want, my tongue down your throat!" BRILLIANT!!
