Series 7 Episode 2 Query
When I first watched this episode I confused myself during part of it and after further viewings am even more confused.
When Ros goes to Lucas' flat says she won't search it then goes to the old ladies flat and introduces herself as pest control then discovers Lucas' submarine info I got very confused. I don't understand how the old lady knew he was writing it!!! I could just have confused myself and it is probably very simple but can anyone please explain this for me? Thank you

As I remember, the old lady works for MI5 and is keeping an eye on Lucas because he's just come back from 8 years in a Russian prison and they're not sure if he's been turned or not. I'd imagine they have Lucas' flat bugged, for both audio and visual, and she's watching and listening to him.
