Except that it's the classic heroic end for any character, and one as terrific as Ros, it'd be the ultimate finale (as much as I don't want her character to "end" - I'd rather she eloped with the Home Secretary.)

And with the new characters written in, there (sadly) may be "no room" for Ros...

Sometimes, I wish just one of the main characters would have a happy farewell, i.e. a posting to Australia (Lucas, I'll meet you at the airport).

Just seen GMTV interview this morning with Richard Armitage. He says that Lucas North is not what we think he is, and isn't what he thought he was either ! And that there is a big betrayal.

Just watch it again.....Ooops he actually said it was a big twist, not a big betrayal. He also spoke about peeling back the layers and finding out who the characters are, presumably the others on the Grid.

Thanks HellsBells. I missed it! Hopefully someone will upload it on the net somewhere or it will appear on the GMTV website later.

I just looked and Richard Arnold from GMTV did just tweet "Richard Armitage on the sofa. Shooting with him tomorrow on Spooks - their first day back after a week off he tells me. Good luck with that."

I assume therefore there will be more to come on GMTV nearer S9.

Just a side point: Stephen Fry mentions the team from Spooks in his blog today, although I don't think he's been watching since season 6.

Thanks for posting Aria and Beatriz. I couldn't see the Spooks clip on the GMTV website but can now it's on youtube. From the clothes they are wearing it does appear the Grid clip is from S8. I do wonder though what RA is doing with his trousers. Has he an itch? Also good to see PF off in the corner distracted, speaking to two young ladies! Anyway always nice to see a new shot of Harry in shirtsleeves...
