Interesting that the combined figures are down about 700,000 but great to see Spooks stay over the 5m. I thought Whitechapel might pull in a few extra seeing as it was the final episode. TVTimes is up to it's work - it has The Little House which is up against Spooks next Monday as "Pick Of The Day" with a 4-star rating yet Spooks is the only programme it gives a 5-star one to. Don't ask me how they managed that. It says of Spooks - " A classic episode that simply whizzes by in a blur of action and accusation." |

More on last nights figures. I have seen the advert for Little House. Looks daft. I am not worried. |

I am tempted to say this article contains spoilers for future episodes as he is not writing it as pure speculation. |

RE: Series 9 Newspaper Reviews / Viewing figures etc
According to Digital Spy last nights episode of Spooks had an audience of 4.93 million compared to 6 million for ITV's Little House. That's very disappointing for such a crucial episode.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a285...t-6m.htmlh We move on from this It's the realisation that I make a negligible difference Sometimes you have to give a man a chance |

Hmmm, I've just been looking the Spooks episodes guide on Wikipedia and the viewing figures posted on there are much higher than we seem to find on the net each week. They use BARB for their figures. The last figures available on there are for episode 9.5. They give Spooks 6.35 million viewers and Whitechapel 6.21 million. The information released on the net the day after said it was a tie between the two episodes which each had around 5.3 million viewers. I am no expert here, but how come these numbers vary so much? Do BARB take into account iplayer and Sky+ viewings? http://www.barb.co.uk/report/weeklyTopPr...rview?_s=4 |
