If they don't do this in the next month or so, then I think we will be ok for series 11. As it is, they seem to be "biging" up series 10 which I don't remember them doing before. I'm thinking they'll make a statement about season 10 possibly being the last one sometime just after filming starts, as well as telling us about any new actors joining the show. I really believe that if the ratings are good for season 10 the show will continue. We move on from this It's the realisation that I make a negligible difference Sometimes you have to give a man a chance |

RE: Series 10 confirmed
I've always said that I'd be content if Spooks finished after 10 series and that still stands.

RE: Series 10 confirmed
Why would it need to finish after series 10? It is a strange series when you look at it, it keeps evolving, none of the characters are the same (except Harry of course), the enemies keep changing. If they can keep that dynamic element to the series could it not continue?

RE: Series 10 confirmed
I've read a few comments that allude to the possibility of series 10 being the last. Can I please ask: is there any foundation to this? I'm not aware of any official announcement to this effect, but can anyone tell me whether it is anything more than mere speculation?

RE: Series 10 confirmed
I would definitely be more keen to watch series 10 if there was some ambiguity over Lucas' fate. My faith in the characters has been shattered.

RE: Series 10 confirmed
As long as they continue to create compelling new characters that can carry the show, the series can go on for a good while longer.
Thanks Tyger! |
