Hmm, I used to watch (When they were broadcast or I have stopped watching)
Waking the Dead
Green Wing
The Tudors
The Smoking Room
Casualty (I last watched it in 2007 I think)
Bad Girls
Hotel Babylon
Messiah

There isn't much on TV that I watch these days, but the main shows I am into are:
Fresh Meat
8 Out of 10 Cats
Mock the Week
Ringer
Top Gear
Anything that is related to true crime
Outnumbered
QI (A guilty pleasure)

I'm working my way through S2 of Deadwood and who should pop up as a 'Madam' in an upmarket whorehouse but Elena. She's not a redhead this time and her face seems to be more mobile but, she is not wearing a lot of make up so maybe that makes the difference.

Went from x-Files (LOVE the first movie, 2nd one BLAH...) to SG-1 (good times....) to Doctor Who (modern. most of my summer hols watching that ^_^) to Spooks. (depressed for days when it ended. I'll look back and think myself a silly fool probably haha)

Current shows I following are Downton Abbey (yes I'm one of them) Actually really enjoy it. But I think I'm the only person who doesn't have it in for the maid Jane. I actually quite like her; even if the Lord Grantham liaison was rather out of the blue. And yes the final 2 eps or so were rather soapy....

Tv obsession, yeah I know what you mean Wink

Yeah, I also think Downton Abbey is getting a bit soapy... Too much for my liking... Let's see what they do in series 3.

This series of Downton wasn't as good as the first one. I even got annoyed with Brendan Coyle's character, Bates, and I love Brendan Coyle.

At the moment I am enjoying Garrow's Law (so glad to see that back), and Frozen Planet. Oh, and The Jury was very good.

Anyone watching Misfits???

I've read that there are 4 episodes of this 3rd series, the first one has been numbered 3.00, is it a special or is it a normal episode??

For the moment, me and my hubby are re-watching The X-files (the whole 9 seasons), though I must admit that the first time we watched it (10 years ago!- seems I'm getting old Smile) we lost our focus somewhere in S8.

Yea I remember my X-files craze in my first year of uni. Season 8 and 9 just felt wrong: Mulder wasn't there! You just can't have X-files without mulder and scully. I would've preferred that they just stopped the show. Of course if they had I probably would've complained that they did. Still, a shame that such an amazing series went out rather badly. And with a terrible film a few years later to boot. The first one was brilliant.

It was the wind Ruth...

A lot of people were dissatisfied with Downton take two, Ayelet Waldman being one of the most vocal and famous. Personally I have mixed feelings about Julian Fellowes, I think he rips off better and more original writers. Will be interesting to see how the new season fares in Australia and the US.

The final season of Waking the Dead is currently showing over here. I'm enjoying it, but have a question:

Didn't Grace have cancer in the previous season? There was no mention of it thus far in the latest season - was this also the case in the UK or did we get a version with some scenes cut?

She did indeed have cancer, yet they just seemed to fail on following it up, which is really annoying with the first two parter of series 9 having Cancer as a focus to the storyline.
