RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - Beatriz - 05-01-2010 04:23 PM Yes, that's it, she was a good resource (can I say that? device better- great talking to myself, sorry for that) to know him better... I liked the character, but I can see, she was a passing through character (I got carried away before, it wouldn't make sense if she comes back) RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - TygerBright - 05-01-2010 06:27 PM there was a time (in season 7) when I thought bringing her back would be nice, part of a healing process, trying to regain what was lost... but live goes on and he's trying to move on (still, that scene when he tears up the photograph...aaawh.) and build something new. Even though his choice is somewhat .. questionable (sorry, YFM ). I wouldn't mind seeing him in a relationship, if only to balance out the daily horrors of the job. I mean, he offers everyone and anyone a shoulder and an ear, but who does he go to? Spoiler: show RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - femaleBertieWooster - 05-01-2010 08:43 PM Well, I absolutely love the actress (Paloma Baeza, just checked at imdb) who I first saw trying to fill Julie Christie's shoes in a remake of Far From The Madding Crowd, a thankless fruitless task. Then I saw her in The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and started liking her then. Recently, after getting anything I could with Macfadyen in it out of the library, I saw her in The Way We Live Now which could be my favorite movie the BBC has ever made. They could bring her back if Baeza is not too busy. I would like that. RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - TygerBright - 05-01-2010 08:52 PM hmm.. wicked plot about someone trying to getting back at/extort something from/influence/turn Lucas by threatening her, "removing" her husband, Lucas saving her... getting a second chance.. hmm... sounds a bit too much like the Ruth story. a slightly long-ish Lucas flashback though might be nice.. or a "what might have been" scene... oh, and sorry about the spoiler in the previous post.. wasn't thinking clearly, cold's doing things to my brain.. RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - femaleBertieWooster - 06-01-2010 03:06 AM (05-01-2010 08:52 PM)TygerBright Wrote: hmm.. wicked plot about someone trying to getting back at/extort something from/influence/turn Lucas by threatening her, "removing" her husband, Lucas saving her... getting a second chance.. I was thinking something like, husband disappearing and her blaming Lucas. She could be after him with intent to kill (guess we better also throw the children to the wolves to get her into that state) and them having to hash things out, through all the distrust anger and memories. RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - TygerBright - 06-01-2010 03:37 AM you're truly wicked. But I'm liking that idea... Can I volunteer for the "intent to kill him"? so, who's got hubby then, and why? (this could actually turn into a (not so) nice story...) RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - femaleBertieWooster - 06-01-2010 04:02 AM (06-01-2010 03:37 AM)TygerBright Wrote: you're truly wicked. It would help the Lucas character get back on track. No one is blaming RA but egads what a mess. Oh, almost forgot, Hubby is gooooooooooone, as are the kids. That's keeping it simple, ya know. RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - LucasNorthFan - 06-01-2010 08:19 AM Quote:It would help the Lucas character get back on track I would like that. Although it should also fit the action-plot otherwise it wouldn't be Spooks-like, she has to be brought back for some UK-is-in-danger reason and she could help Lucas along the way. LNF RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - almh - 06-01-2010 08:57 AM I agree that maybe bringing Elizaveta back would help Lucas back on track, but, more importantly, I think that she is the one person that Lucas really trusts. RE: Lucas and Elizaveta - JHyde - 06-01-2010 09:16 AM No. Seriously. And he doesn't/didn't trust her. (He didn't trust her before he was captured, he didn't tell her he worked for Five!) It was one of a few reasons he let her go as an asset in the first place. |
