RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
(24-12-2009 02:25 PM)YourFutureMuse Wrote: I think they should have not bothered with Robin Hood and just made it the Guy of Gisborne show Robin Hood really was a thankless role, at least the way the series was written. It almost seems like he's a supporting character for Guy. It reminds me of Ivanhoe. In the two versions I've seen, it was all about Brian de Bois-Guilbert. Sam Neill and Ciaran Hinds stole the show. I hope they gave Russel Crowe a decent script in the new one so Robin Hood can get his due. Rooftop scene: Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away. Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!" Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas." |

RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
I think the writers set out to make Robin Hood - but when they realised the massive success they got by pairing Keith Allen and Richard Armitage they adapted it for them.

RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
I love Guy, nearly as much as I luv Lucas and Harry from V.O.D!!
Lucas North: Your situation is more precarious than you realize, Connie, so stop pressing buttons and give us something. Connie James: Threats don't work with a person who has nothing to lose. Lucas North: Oh, you're too ingenious to think that I'm threatening you. I'm offering you a simple choice: help us or don't. I'll leave you to compute the implication. |

RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
I just rewatched the first episode this morning and I love the interaction between Guy and the Sheriff Keith Allen is amazing in it and of course it goes without saying so is RA
When the sheriff is teasing him about him letting Robin Hood scare him away when he only had one man and Guy had 20 something - LOL - the look on his face - bless him |

In the season 1 DVD extras, Spoiler: show |

RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
gee, that's a surprise...
just imagine they did that on Spooks.. you know, undress him, have him jump into swimming pools, put him in boiler suits... and all with no good reason! ...unthinkable on third thought... there are a few trees left in London tho, no? |

Just watched that 'Tattoo? What Tattoo?' episode and I did quite enjoy Guy being tied to the tree and when he was fighting with Robin....
