RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
(24-12-2009 02:25 PM)YourFutureMuse Wrote: I think they should have not bothered with Robin Hood and just made it the Guy of Gisborne show Robin Hood really was a thankless role, at least the way the series was written. It almost seems like he's a supporting character for Guy. It reminds me of Ivanhoe. In the two versions I've seen, it was all about Brian de Bois-Guilbert. Sam Neill and Ciaran Hinds stole the show. I hope they gave Russel Crowe a decent script in the new one so Robin Hood can get his due. Rooftop scene: Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away. Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!" Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas." ![]() |

RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
I think the writers set out to make Robin Hood - but when they realised the massive success they got by pairing Keith Allen and Richard Armitage they adapted it for them.

RE: Robin Hood (other interests)
I love Guy, nearly as much as I luv Lucas and Harry from V.O.D!!
![]() Lucas North: Your situation is more precarious than you realize, Connie, so stop pressing buttons and give us something. Connie James: Threats don't work with a person who has nothing to lose. Lucas North: Oh, you're too ingenious to think that I'm threatening you. I'm offering you a simple choice: help us or don't. I'll leave you to compute the implication. ![]() |
