My gut feeling looking at those pictures is that it is not that pub. The place looks too funky. The pub they went to is one of those real ale pubs, unchanged for 20 years, quite small and cosy.

I wasn't convinced either, that's why I asked, sometimes it seems the same place but others doesn't...

RE: Spooks Locations
An easy one - 8.2, 7:00, just outside Freemasons
Spoiler: show
when Tariq meets Jo and has fallen off his bike

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

I asked a Millwall fan about the Ancient Foresters & his comments went along the lines of "not a friendly pub at all", "nothing worth filming that's not broken". Apparently it's also where the worst of the Millwall hooligans (which basically means the scum of the earth) used to hang out, so even if it turns out it WAS where they filmed, there's no way I'd go there or recommend anyone else did. Sounds highly unlikely in any case, so we'll keep looking.

RE: Spooks Locations
If anyone can spare a few minutes to give me a second opinion on something I would be most grateful. I am trying to find the location of the park from 8.8
Spoiler: show
where Ruth meets the chinese bloke
As Ruth enters the park through the walled garden there is a sign to her right about walking dogs. On the top of the sign is the coat of arms for the London Borough. It is not a great shot but you can just make out the colours, a red and white shield (I think it is a shield) a blue figure to the right and an orange figure to the left. I have looked up the coat of arms for London Boroughs on the net and the closest I can match it to is Southwark. This would seem to make sense as they have done filming around that area before. But there also appears to be writing around the coat of arms, 5 letters to the top and 7 below. The only London Borough with this amount of letters in the name is Tower Hamlets. Their coat of arms is totally different though. If anyone can have a look and see if they think it is Southwark as well.

RE: Spooks Locations
We need to get a London taxi driver to join the forum -- they know everything about locations.

RE: Spooks Locations
I don't think it is Southwark - the shield has more white on it than the one for Southwark, & seems to have a chevron rather than a cross on it. I am looking at other coats of arms for inspiration.
Sorry, I'm beaten. I've trawled through non-London boroughs too. Nothing seems to fit.
This is the coat of arms in question, if anyone else wants to try to identify it. I'm afraid I can't get it any clearer.

RE: Spooks Locations
Thanks for looking. Its a bit strange that it doesnt seem to match exactly. The sign looks quite new so it cant be an "old version" of a coat of arms, if there is such a thing. I will put my thinking cap on and try and think what else this coat of arms could be, if not a London Borough.

Two more locations:
2.08. (44:49)
Spoiler: show
Curtis makes his industrial action in East Ham area, it's near Thames barrier and City airport. I found it thanks to one of the grid pc. So not my achievement.

2.09 - 33:02 -> Oxford Circus.
Spoiler: show
Zoe meets Tessa.
