That the real Lucas North is someone else WOULD work both as a storyline and a great twist, plus it woud cover the "Lucas isn't who you think he is" and "WHAT??!?" comments from RA.

I also couldn't belive they'd invite the public (i.e. Spooks fans) to watch the shooting of a main character. The fact that it isn't RA as Lucas, serves to drive us all insane trying to work out what's going on, plus it's "free" publicity for the show months before it goes to air.

And, yes, it's driving me crazy - but I love it!

I think it is no coincidence that we got material of Harry being shot (and saved by either Ros or SM's character), fake Lucas being shot and Lucas in 1995. All three scenes seem to be key scenes, they are pivotal to the fate of the main character and don't involve baddies or guest stars.

Vegaway has uploaded a dozen or so photos to flickr today apparently showing Spooks filming. It is not clear when they were taken though as filming seems to have finished. They are not the best photos so don't get too excited. You can see Max Brown in a couple of them though. The location is nice.

Hmmm...there is a very prominently placed Customs & Excise van. Smacks of a smuggling motif to me. But that is for another thread.

This person has The Dickens Inn in and amongst the Shooting Spooks photos. Is that the location? It would be cool because in looking up the Dickens Inn, it is interesting to note that it used to be a spice warehouse on a "dock that was, for over a century, London’s trading outlet." You guys probably already knew that. I didn't. Still, clever choice for a location if it is indeed an episode pertaining to something that needs Customs & Excise that would have been completely lost on me in viewing.

I thought this photo showed Max Brown, right in the middle of the shot. I could be wrong though.
