Tick tick tick...Waiting for the end of my shift to end (approx 1hr 45 minutes) then I am on VACATION!!! Yahoo

I will be spending a wonderful week along the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia (my home province)...a bit of a stay-cation - plans include dinners with friends, bonfires on the beach, reading reading reading, walks along the beach, re-discovering why millions of people around the world come visit my neck of the woods in this great big world! Am mulling over the differences between American and English English Tongue Holiday vs vacation, flat vs apartment, lift vs elevator, etc.

RE: Status?
Australian English is a mix of both. I remember watching Hugh Laurie on Ellen once and she played a game with him where they had to guess what words in the other's lingo meant - they both sucked at it, mostly. Because we share so much culture with both countries, we've ended up with a mix. Canadians and New Zealanders are the same, I find.

I saw that too. If it wasn't for my dislike of Ellen, it would've been funny.

Anyway, status: working on the final stages of my new website. Wink

I'm off down the gym. Need some of those dolphins to make me feel good.

"Where's Harry?"
"Moving in mysterious ways."

RE: Status?
Last Night: Beach Frisbee and long talk with mother with the help of a glass or two of Balvenie 12 year old doublewood single malt whiskey.
This morning: long walk with daughter down beach and through artists enclave.
This afternoon: reading, reading, reading.
Life is good.

Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks];
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet
