RE: Status?
Tick tick tick...Waiting for the end of my shift to end (approx 1hr 45 minutes) then I am on VACATION!!!
I will be spending a wonderful week along the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia (my home province)...a bit of a stay-cation - plans include dinners with friends, bonfires on the beach, reading reading reading, walks along the beach, re-discovering why millions of people around the world come visit my neck of the woods in this great big world! Thank you TygerBright for my fantastic av & sig! |

Am mulling over the differences between American and English English Holiday vs vacation, flat vs apartment, lift vs elevator, etc. Av & sig by TygerBright, using my screencaps |

RE: Status?
Australian English is a mix of both. I remember watching Hugh Laurie on Ellen once and she played a game with him where they had to guess what words in the other's lingo meant - they both sucked at it, mostly. Because we share so much culture with both countries, we've ended up with a mix. Canadians and New Zealanders are the same, I find.

If it wasn't for my dislike of Ellen, it would've been funny. Anyway, status: working on the final stages of my new website. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

RE: Status?
Last Night: Beach Frisbee and long talk with mother with the help of a glass or two of Balvenie 12 year old doublewood single malt whiskey.
This morning: long walk with daughter down beach and through artists enclave. This afternoon: reading, reading, reading. Life is good. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |
