RE: Series 9 Newspaper Reviews / Viewing figures etc
Viewing figures for last night. Not bad. I wonder if they will go up next week as BOBW has finished on ITV.

ITV is putting up a new detective show starring Stephen Tomkinson against Spooks next week. TV Times which gave last night's premiere it's Pick of the Day has given a very disappointing preview of Episode 2 saying that the new line-up feels a little lightwieght on the evidence so far and finishes "This normally top-class drama needs to reclaim it, and fast. Ouch! We can judge for ourselves. All reviews for Episode 1 are extremely positive! |

5.6 is good, it's series 10 good.
I hope the figures remain at somewhere below that level. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

In reporting last night's figures Digital Spy says the show is rumoured to be in its last Season.
However strangely the link they give to this is an article from last January. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a277...y-56m.html |

Blinking TV Times. Anyway, even if this episode is a little weak, although the trailer does not suggest it is, I take heart that no Spooks episode, can ever be as bad as 8.3, so bring it on ! Good article, Aria, some really funny bits. Next week, Spooks goes head to head with the new series with Stephen Tompkinson. The books it's based on are brilliant and really popular. I'm really disappointed it's going to be on at the same time as Spooks because ST is one of my favourite actors. The series will be tough competition for Spooks and will probably dent the viewing figures. I'm so glad I can record it (Banks, that is - I wouldn't miss Spooks for anything). |
