It must be a typo IMO surely? There is no other mention of Ruth really in this article. It should say Ros surely? Would Peter really spill the beans like that !!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Spooks is going to kill me...

EDIT: This link was amended later by the magazine (see my post below.) It did say Ruth. Obviously this is now not correct so I wont bother with tags anymore.

This is a very strange interview.

At first I thought that it must have taken place a few weeks back but was only going to print now but then it asks if he can reveal any secrets as it is nearing the end of the Series.

That's exactly what I keep thinking. The writers are shouting from the top of their voices 'Look! Lucas has flipped. He's betraying everyone and everything' so, to me, and in true Spooks writers' style, that means it just can't be him. [Clasps hands together in prayer]

Unless the interview was done before season 9 started showing, which is the impression I get, seeing what he says about Ros' death. Surely if it were after the first few episodes aired, he would have been more specific about that.

Before the season started, the Lucas thing would certainly qualify as "unexpected".
