RE: Rupert Penry-Jones
I got to see the first episode of the first series of Whitechapel on TV here tonight! Damn it, but I couldn't get Adam Carter out of my head. His Whitechapel character certainly starts out a bit wussy and wet. But early days ...

I also caught Colin (sorry, can't recall actor's name) in New Tricks tonight as a "nutty" forensic guy. Made me realise how much I miss him in Spooks.

So quite a Spooks nostalgia evening it turned out to be Smile

RE: Rupert Penry-Jones
Oh dear. I'm really surprised this has got another series. I thought S2 of Whitechapel had died a death in the ratings? Don't get me wrong, I think RPJ is a great actor but I think his talents are being wasted in Whitechapel and also in Silk. Don't get me wrong (again) I am enjoying Silk, but Rupert has not had many scenes in the first two episodes. I am just surprised he has not had bigger and better gigs in recent years.

RE: Rupert Penry-Jones
I'm finding Silk a bit dull and am not gripped. I had to miss the last fifteen minutes of the last one and it didn't bother me, as I didn't really care what happened. Not RPJ's fault, I think he is great. Just wasn't interested in the storyline.

RE: Rupert Penry-Jones
I thought RPJ would have a bigger part in Silk. It does seem to dominated by Martha at the moment which is a bit of a shame.

RE: Rupert Penry-Jones
the second series main problem for me was simply the story of the krays wasnt as much as a draw as jack the ripper so the idea of 3 storys is a good one - i think they have ecplored the ocd thing quite well

as much as i liked silk it isnt my bag
