How long have you been a Spooks fan and how did it happen

With me it's quite a strange/funny story
I'm not a native English-speaker and I've just finished secondary school. We obviously learn English at school and I like going for some unconventional methods, like watching films f.ex. After going through dozens ( yeah, I mean it: DOZENS) of BBC programs, shows and stuff, I've ran out of ideas and started watching Spooks in december 2010. And I'm SO happy I went for the series My English is already really good, anyway (have I mentioned that I'm a very modest person? so I can simply enjoy the show without focusing on the language anymore. I watched all the seasons and even managed to convert my eng. teacher to a spooks-fan
