I am so amped. The tone of the first episode looks very different from what we had last time. The season 8 premiere was all about getting to Harry in time, this looks slower in pace and is more like season 7 in tone.

That occurred to me too. An early DVD release suggests that they're saving the date a year from now for a full box set.

They are shown later on. Most probably a couple of hours after the episode broadcasts.

Can anybody tell me when you will have access to the episode on the iPlayer? Are they shown there at the same time as the actual broadcast on BBC1 or can you only watch them there later on?

hey are usualy up on iplayer straight after or a few hours after there isnt a simicast online sadley
im suprsed it isnt on BBC HD SPOOKS 2002-2011 - Thanks for the Memory's

I'm fairly sure you can watch it live on iplayer. Just might be a bit jumpy.

Nitrus is right of course apparently you can with the new iplayer (http://www.bbc.co.uk/digital/other/index.shtml)
