RE: Travel
I think it's high time I tell you about my adventures in Norway and Berlin. July has been a great month for me regarding travelling.
Norway: it's amazing, its scenery is stunning. We traveled along the Fiords, saw a glacier (I was impressed), I travelled by helicopter, it was my first time and it was awesome!! It was a pity we couldn't fly over the glacier; the fog was on it. I loved the wooden houses in different colours. Bergen was beautiful and Oslo is full of gardens and parks. My favourite was Vigeland Park, it's full of sculptures by Vigeland; they represent the different stages of life. And of course I saw "The Scream" (Skrik in Norwegian) the most famous one, they didn't have the other ones in the National Gallery. What I hated about Norway is that it's too expensive Berlin: it's a lovely city (sorry for my narrow range of vocabulary and adjetives), I loved it, thanks to Tygerbright and her information It's a city full of culture, history,... Lots of different places to go depending on what you like and your interests, wonderful bars... I miss the beer!! At first it tasted too bitter for me but I got used to it and now spanish beer is too sweet for me!! I tried rote Weiße and of course Currywurst and Bratwurst The street markets are great, cheap vinyls and you can find almost everything and I fell in love with the vintage furniture sold there. I want to come back now!!! "Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt" Pactum serva |

RE: Travel
Can't believe I've only just seen your post Beatriz
Those look lovely! I've been to Norway (Bergen actually ) but I don't remember it very much as I was only about 6 or 7 at the time (was my first ever holiday abroad). I did go down one of the fjords, but didn't see a glacier unfortunately, and I didn't go into Oslo (except for the airport). Came here to basically advertise the Lake District Am here (again, lol) on holiday, and well, I already love it, but here's some pics anyway Av & sig by TygerBright, using my screencaps |
