RE: DVD release
Very fair. There's almost nothing: just a little featurette on how they shot
Series 8 Spoiler: show
Sarah tossing her Boss off the balcony
and nothing else. No cast interviews or deleted footage or anything like that.

RE: DVD release
Ok, thanks for saving me some money Smile

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

RE: DVD release
Annoyed that the price of S8 doesn't seem to have gone down much yet at places like Play and Amazon whereas Ashes to Ashes seems to have gone right down... I really wanted to get it for Xmas but don't like to pay more then 20 for it Sad

Mm, I'm facing the same dilemma! My thoughts were that I'd wait until the January sales and order a copy of it then, because it's bound to have gone down in price. I really don't want to spend £25 on it when S7 is selling for just over £10 Dodgy

RE: DVD release
You realise of course that the more money they make from DVD sales, the more likely it is that Spooks will continue?

I am annoyed that there are no cast interviews. What were they thinking? Who wants to listen to Genevieve OReilly?

Yes I thought the extras weren't as good as they could have been, surely great extras will help to sell the DVDs.

RE: DVD release
It would appear they are re-releasing S8 on DVD on the 28 Feb. Am I missing something here? Why would they do this?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004K...531_snp_dp

The only obvious difference would be that it is now 471mins instead of 472mins on my "old" copy.

RE: DVD release
Got an email from amazon recently saying that series 5 (I think) was also being released on the 28 Feb. I just assumed that there was something odd going on at Amazon, mixing up series 9 release date with that of previous series.
