Lol It would probably require some kind of processing on it. Usually these kind of messages are hidden on a binary level.

RE: Series 9 Episode 4 discussion
Where to begin - OMG!!!!
Well, first of all they continued the arc of trust and betrayal. The storyline had tons of twists in it with all the people being controlled like chesspieces by someone else. I love the new HS, the scenes between him and Harry are works of art. There were some great little moments between Ruth and Harry. Ruth came into her own tonight showing ingenuity and courage along with her usual dollop of compassion. Beth was given the chances to learn on the job and Dimitri showed that he was more than just a glorified extra. As for Lucas, I'm so scared for him and what the writers have in store. It's a great part for RA, not an easy one. He is a walking dicotomy. Brave and fearless, loving and utterly ruthless. At the beginning of the episode we got to see his selflessless on the job when he gave himself up to be arrested for the good of the assignment. Compare that with with his utter deviousness and lack of moral code in dealing with the task of getting Vaughan out of his hair. His actions are repellent yet you can understand how a man who has suffered the way he has would act to keep everything he wants and needs: total self-preservation. He sells it in the scene with Maya at the hospital. RA can portray complete love in a way that would curl your hair and believe any action was worthy of preserving that love - whether we as viewers agree with or like it. It's an interesting point that Lucas is able to delude himself so clearly when it comes to women. With Maya, he's jumping into it feet first (much quicker than she is- he closes his eyes for the kiss, while she doesn't) because he is reaching for something tangible and lasting. It's not going to end well. 'm just so scared for Lucas now. And the ending... EEEEK! BTW, did anyone else think the Chinese setting a bomb off in a London Street was ludicrous? Perhaps it was just a writers device to give Dimitri something to do! |

Albany is the name of a software company which makes credit card payment software.
Albany is also an ancient name for "North Britain". The Royal Marines were originally called the Duke of York and Albany's Maritime Regiment. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

RE: Series 9 Episode 4 discussion
I loved this episode so that's four in a row ~ brilliant! The fast pace and intrigue made the hour fly by although they could make a whole show out of a Harry and Home Secretary chat. So caustic and amusing, I just love it when those two get together in a room.
Not so sure Lucas is the bastard he appears to be. Perhaps his despair is because he's realising Maya is somehow involved with Vaughn and he's having to play a double bluff. She looks highly suspicious to me. Ruth could end up in the middle of a nasty scene if she continues to delve and pop up behind Lucas in basement corridors. Don't get involved Ruth, just tell Harry what you're thinking and step back. No, I know, that's not the Ruth way. Hey ho! |

That was so intense I had to turn it off halfway.
But loved the shirtless Lucas. Yum. They must have some stencil or something to get those jail tats right all the time. |

RE: Series 9 Episode 4 discussion
Holy Mother of God! What the heck is going on? Lucas' running to Maya at the hospital was soooo out of character for him. He does not react so emotionally or act that irrationally, no matter WHO he's playing at.
There is something else afoot here. His comment, "a traitor is a traitor" seemed ominous and phrophetic. I am really unhappy with this.... just needed to pout. Guy of Gisborne is starting to look like a great guy. sigh... (11-10-2010 10:11 PM)Tea Lady Wrote:(11-10-2010 10:03 PM)Nitrus Wrote: It was just and idea, can anyone identify the ship for certain? He didn't act this emotional or irrational when he found his WIFE Elizaveta why would he act so weirdly about Maya. Lucas also didn't question Vaughn as to how he discovered where he lived. hmmm...this is going to require a few more viewing when I can stand it. "Wot...now?" ~Lucas North |

RE: Series 9 Episode 4 discussion
WTF?? Are the writers deliberately destroying Lucas' character? Why is this necessary, giving him his b*lls back for little more than episode 1? I am very disappointed.

RE: Series 9 Episode 4 discussion
I don't necessarily think that Lucas being a love-sick puppy is ruining his character, if anything, I think that tendency of his to dive head first into a love relationship and holding it on so tightly is a big part of his character, a big part of showing how his emotions have been screwed up and damaged during his years being a prisoner in Russia. For Lucas, I don't think it's always necessarily real love, he just wants something good to hold onto and he is lost and scared without it, that's why he seems so love-sick and so intense about his relationship, for him, he is trying desperately to hold onto something good.
I have to admit though, I am hovering between wanting to smack Lucas for being a love-sick puppy or locking him in a steel room for his own safety. I swear the writers are trying to kill me! I've already had enough heart-attacks in fear of what they are trying to do with Lucas this series!!! Seriously, I've gotten more grey-hairs with Lucas than I did with my brother, and my brother's not even 5 years old yet!! Seeing Lucas crossing that moral boundary is actually not very surprising to me, I've always thought that there were two sides of Lucas. One side is kind, caring, gentle, loving, loyal, and brave. The other side is dark, tormented, ruthless, and willing to do anything to survive. And from what I can see, Vaughn is slowly bringing out the dark side of Lucas who when in survival mode, is willing to anything to get what he wants, even if it meant innocent people gets in harm's way. I really hope they won't kill Lucas or turn him into some evil traitor, that would be a true waste of his character, even more than him being a love-sick puppy.... Oh and Ruth had me giggling the whole time when she kept popping up behind Lucas in cooridoors, clearly she has been practicing her ninja skills!! Her teleportation's working well! RIP Carter Hall ~ Hawkman |
