RE: Series 9 Episode 6 discussion
I still think I feel like I'm missing some connection. Something fishy is going on, so I'm still holding out that Lucas will come out of this okay.

RE: Series 9 Episode 6 discussion
OMG, this was so rivetting. I was screaming at my telly! I missed what ''punk-girl'' said about ''Albany'' after shee had been shot. And it was quite an elaborate plot for Malcolm to apparently live where he lived when Lucas came visiting, dig up the file, have his mum (or at least an elderly lady) come into the room and then to vacate that house by the end of the day. Or was it a plot? If what he told Lucas was true (that he was on a list of only 3 to be trusted with the alledged Albany file, the others being Adam and Ros maybe??), how far does this go back? And what does Harry know?? I can't wait till next week. I love next week spoilers. Harry seems to brush off Ruth's concerns about Lucas. Does he know more?? Is it all a plan?

There is something about Lucas's storyline - a hope for some kind of redemption, I dunno, but it's there. Can he really be all that bad (clearly). But that was a brilliant episode from start to finish - kudos to the writer(s).

I think Dolly Parton dying in his arms like that will be difficult to explain even if this is some huge set up and Lucas is in on it. Yes, it did appear that she was going to die anyway, but still. She still deserved a chance. Also, we still don't know what Albany is about. The file is clearly not in the system at 5. Why? Clearly Harry removed it from 5. Why? It is hardly a secure location, Malcolm's garden. What about foxes? I just wonder whether Harry anticipated this or perhaps had intell that Vaughn was after this file so moved it to test Lucas. I don't know anymore to be honest. Clearly though, Harry knows what Albany is and knew it needed protecting. |

RE: Series 9 Episode 6 discussion
Ok,so my friend thinks that Ruth is the one working the Vaughn character and that she's out to destroy Harry and the rest of the team for what happened to her but personally I just cant see that happening. I know she lost her partner and step-son but please, this is Harry where talking about and whatever pain and hurt she may or may not feel he caused her I cant honestly believe that she would do that to him, there's just too much past between them for her to throw it all away. So she turned down his proposal, she was still clearly hurt when he walked around ignoring her or did his best to,she still loves him and she cant hide it,I just think she's afraid of what could happen if they were together away from MI5. How great to see Malcolm back too,I've missed his little 'stress head' outburst's (lol),cant wait for next week's episode

One thing I can say for sure is that, they certainly made this series all the more confusing and mind-twisting. I do applaud them for that effort.
Whatever end this story comes to, I'm sure most of us will be sufficiently freaked out and emotionally drained. And I'm sure I will be bursting into tears multiple times before this is over. RIP Carter Hall ~ Hawkman |

RE: Series 9 Episode 6 discussion
Forgot about the forum, I'm back now Spooks is back again, been a bit mental moving around the country etc, ANYWAY! I reeeeeally enjoyed tonight's episode. Frenetic high-paced adrenaline-pumping proper Spooksiness.
I was shocked by Tariq's 'outburst' the first time round, I watched it again on iPlayer cos I didn't catch what he said due to flatmates, and I laughed then. He's a clever boy but shame he dropped the palm PC thingy! He and the crew working together were great. Dimitri was a general dude like always, especially with his 'oi, Evershed, stop being nosy' and 'I've had a really terrible idea!' Harry was absolutely pwning at the end of it, and Ruth knows so much more than she is letting on... once again they are played well both as individuals and together. Well, poor Lucas - life catching up with him and he's gonna flip out I reckon. He's been a tortured soul from day one - RA always gets chosen for these parts! "I'm like a shark, I never sleep." |

RE: Series 9 Episode 6 discussion
So glad that many appear to be more confused than ever after watching that ep and it's not just me.
I enjoyed it but hurry up and tell us what the heck is goin' on!!!!! I thought at the end that there was some sort of airborne poison or something that was affecting LucasJohn but alas, that just would be the guilt/fear/stress working on him. I also have to admit when Lucas said to "Harry" on the phone "...you'll have to de-comission me!" I thought AH HA - Lucas will go the way of Tom...but again, alas no (at least no in this episode) So cool to see Malcolm and in a sweater too! OMG - only 2 eps left Thank you TygerBright for my fantastic av & sig! |

I could watch that happy ending!! RIP Carter Hall ~ Hawkman |
