really good points there about the differnt chemistry. I wonder if it is because when unscripted it is natural - PF and NW are obvioisly close in real life as friends so they just play on what is already there, but when scripted they have to incorporate someone elses view the scriptwriters into the idea and so things are bound to be differnt . Jist an idea. Would have loved to have seen some of the bigget Harry Ruth scenes if theyd been given free range to ad lib them wow now that would have been full of chemistry x x

Series 5 Spoiler: show

Up until that point the chemistry between them really is mainly subtext whic obviously PF and NW picked up on, so they really created the relationship between the characters
... Juliet noticed it though in 5.2 (I was actually quite suprised she came out and asked him), and then after 5.2 I think Harry realised his feelings for Ruth were a lot strong than he first thought... From that point the chemistry builds and builds in just 3 episodes before she leaves... its great, creating tension and chemistry like that isn't easy !

Looking back over Series 8 that chemistry is still there, and in Series 9, it just feels different, maybe because they know how they feel about each other now, and they know each other... and because of what happened to Ruth in Cyprus

I just saw that clip on Amazon, looks like we got our wish after all YAY! It will be interesting to finally see an interview of them together, interesting to hear what they'll say about H/R for S9 and possibly 10... now I just want that DVD to be released quicker

Yeah thank heavens for amazon, can't wait for the box set release now. Don't ya just love the way that all the time Nicola Walker is talking on that clip PF just keeps looking at her as if to say Gee your swell, love that guy. Also just watched the documentary on the extras on series 5, when PF is talking about how much Harry misses Ruth, his little face hummphhh.

not sure how to do that but if u go to amazon type in spooks series 9 and click on that . Then youll have the web page up for ordering the dvd, underneath the pic of the dvd on top left theres two boxes one says video on click that x
