I think RA's filming schedule with The Hobbit would make that highly unlikely, unless we have the rumoured "second ending," or he filmed a few extra scenes before the S9 filming wound up. Being Spooks, they won't tell us, will they?

I don't think Spooks is the sort of show that would think that un-tasteful, there have been worst things in Spooks!

I think the S9 ending was left open for a reason, we'll just have to wait and see what that reason was!

True. And remember that the DVD Extras says "the Downfall of Lucas North," not "the Death of Lucas North."

I still think he stepped off the roof, but it'd be a super twist if they left it open and he did walk back in one day.

Why not? He had several cars, medical equipment, sudden computing expertise etc etc - all in the space of a few hours, why not a paraglider? That would work (really)!

But with filming of The Hobbit put back to mid-March I can't see RA having time to film Spooks. I just hope that there is something definite in series 10, such as Lucas is dead, or he isn't, rather than just leaving us with speculation.

Well, RA won't be back in series 10, but we must never give up hope that there will be a series 11 and even 12. Even if it won't be next year, there is no rule saying they can't revive it in a couple of years. Harry still has a few years of spying in him. Big Grin

But walker was not a loved character, and nobody really cared that much if he lived or died (well me anyway). whereas with lucas we got to know him over 3 series and see'ing him fall to his death would have been a bit Dodgy

We got to see Adam get engulfed in flames, though. I'm not really into Adam, but for those who love the character, that must have been quite a shock.
