You jest, but I've seen this done. Watched a shoot with an actor sitting on a bench feeding the pigeons. When they were ready to film, the pigeons were let out of their cage. Lots of people with boards were there to stop them wandering off (might explain the high numbers of crew!!). Then when the director yelled cut they were all rounded up and put back in the cage again. One of the crew told me you had to have trained pigeons or you could be spending all day waiting for co-operation from the common variety. (Wonder if they're the same pigeons? Smile

)

Well, maybe they do have the common variety because one of the pigeons is walking off the set! Pigeons are so temperamental. I can almost hear it muttering under its breath, "This job is for the humans! It's raining and the only hospitality they have tastes like bird feed. Sod it, I can't work under these conditions! I'm calling my agent...." Wink

Seriously though, thanks DSS. It is amazing what goes into it to make it look so very natural.

There is a guy in a trench-coat standing behind the reflector in the first pic. I wonder if he is an actor or just in his London Fog due to the rain?

Another good pic yorkshiretyke. Whoever got that pic sure did get close to the action. I do wonder why SHP is glaring at the guy with the cell phone sitting on the steps?

I particlularly enjoyed the rogue pigeon in that photo. He's one dude who is unimpressed by the presence of the great Harry Pearce!

According to someone on twitter they are filming in trafalgar square this morning.

Sorry guys you might want to ignore that, the post was coming up when you did a search for spooks on twitter but now its not, wonder if the person has removed it because it wasn't spooks filming after all.

I think it's true about Trafalgar Square. There have been loads of tweets today about it but not many photos taken and posted. Here is one photo. Is it Max Brown with slightly longer hair??
