I watched the first series (and clearly remember the deep fat fryer scene) but never really got into it - mainly because I didn't like Matthew McFadyen. Years later caught a repeat episode towards the end of series 7 and watched that and series 8 straight through and loved it.
What really drew me in was ep 8.1 when Ruth and Harry met up again for the first time, even though I had no idea of their previous relationship it was obvious that there was a lot of history there. Following the end of S8 I went back and watched all the other series including s9 which I loved, and now I'm hanging out (like everyone else) for S10! |

By accident !
Sat down with the..then current g/f and up it came as we flicked channels, looked interesting so pow! I was hooked, also as London is my old haunt I know a lot of places that come up in the series on screen. By accident ! |
