the fact that Tom went on to found a private security firm after his decommission. Does it mean that he is employing the Serb and other nationality bad guys who kidnapped Jim Coaver? I hope not. I do not want his character destroyed. Perhaps if we see only fleetingly, he will help Harry and Ruth.

Judging by the photo, I'm thinking:

That grave stone/mist was used in episode one, introducing the Russian bad guys in Moscow. They haven't been seen since, so perhaps Tom is involved with the plot. But as the article says, we'll just have to wait and see.

ok, that actually reassures me that he isn't behind the plot then as that would take more screen time. I'm guessing that

it seems that Tom is emerging from the fog near some ruins. Are they in Russia or in England? I can't tell. The abandoned building does not seem to be near the river where H/R meet.

In EP1, when Harry is being brought to Thames House and Sasha is watching at him, he checks photographs of Harry to see if it's him, and Tom Quinn is with him on those photo's

Since seeing Tom in the photograph, I had a feeling that he'd turn up at some point. Maybe he returns in a flashback from Harry's past, opposed to appearing in the present day with the current team?
