Liga, you're in luck! Sweden is one of the countries which has participated in showing NT Live productions in cinemas in the past. Check out THIS PAGE for more information. Wink

Fan-flippin'-tastic! Thanks, pepelow!

I was so hoping that it would be on the NT Live docket. I finally get to see NW "live". Well, live-ish. Smile Just read the book and am looking forward to their interpretation of the mother as well.

Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks];
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I am not at all surprised that the play will be on the NT Live roster. The book is beloved by millions since it was first published, and is a prescribed text in many schools around the world. So there is already a "built-in" audience for the play.

This will raise Nicola's profile immeasurably. I am soooo happy and excited for her. She will be fabulous as Christopher's mother, as long as the playwright gives her character more lines than the book did. CAN-NOT-WAIT to watch this live on stage! Yahoo

This is very exciting news. My local cinema screens the efforts of this program and I can't wait to see this one.

Reminder for US Nicola Walker fans, "Inside Men" starts on BBC America on 20 June 2012 at 10 pm EST. Smile

As for the live broadcast of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" on 6 September 2012, a few theatres have already started to tweet about ticket sales to their VIP members. So if you live in a city which has a cinema which will show NT Live shows, you better start making enquiries about tickets soon. Check out the NT Live page to find out more information about theatres participating in NT Live shows.

Tickets for the additional dates for the live performance of the play at the NT will go on sale to the general public on 22 June 2012. From what I can see, only Levels B and C tickets are still available (as of this writing) for some of the dates with other dates already sold out. Here's the NT webpage for this play.

Anne Reid was on BBC Breakfast this morning, talking about her various current and upcoming projects. She spoke briefly about Last Tango in Halifax and mentioned that the show will not air till "later in the year". Sad (The link to the clip from BBC Breakfast will only work for fans who live in the UK.)
