RE: Robert Glenister
That's a shame its not going to the West End. It does seem a bit strange that he only knew he would be returning to Spooks now. I agree with Beatriz in that if he was coming back as a full-time cast member again, he surely would have known at the start of the year, at the latest. That makes me think he may come back as part of a one off storyline or to help wrap the Nightingale story line up.

RE: Robert Glenister
Or perhaps in the excitement of speaking with whufan, he was flustered and mis-spoke about 'just hearing about it'.
I'm not mocking whufan, it is very easy to speak about things 'just happening' when you've had a busy, repetitive few months, as he assuredly has. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Robert Glenister
Actually it wasn't me he told - 3 RG fans who I know very well all heard him say it - they asked and he answered. And I think it would be fair enough to say that Nicholas resigning because he was stitched up needs to be resolved.
Robert getting flustered - ROLF. |

RE: Robert Glenister
Harry did promise to clear his name and he does owe him a favour for sorting Ruth out, so I really wouldnt be surprised at his return. That storyline would "fit." I do hope he's not just coming back for a one off funeral though...

He was originally due to be on stage with Hedda Gabler in the West End, as well as filming Hustle in the summer. Maybe, as he's unexpectedly free now that HG finishes its run this Saturday [], the Spooks team called him back? Every cloud has a silver lining. A very large cloud though, as a lot of people I know were making plans to go down to London and see HG. |

RE: Robert Glenister
It'll be interesting if RG is back as the Home Secretary. He'll have been Home Secretary far, far longer than any of the real ones ever have!!!

RE: Robert Glenister
I can't see him back as the HS even if he is cleared of corruption as scandal lingers. Perhaps he'll come back as an embittered former politician making trouble for the government.
We move on from this It's the realisation that I make a negligible difference Sometimes you have to give a man a chance |
