Pulp Fiction
Seven
The Usual Suspects (my all time favourite)
Shawshank Redemption
Leon
Ronin
The Dark Knight (Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker)
The Hunt for Red October

Not many I know but I believe they are quality movies.

Seven was good.

I liked the Usual Suspects, but it's one of those movies that you can really appreciate the first time.

Leon (or the Professional) is really good. I can't believe Luc Besson did that movie and The Fifth Element (another fave).

Ronin - I haven't watched it. I just can't get into it. I'm not sure why.

Both The Dark Knight & Batman Begins didn't appeal to me for some reason. I think I like Aaron Eckhart's Two Face better than Ledger's Joker. I'm not really sure what the problem has been for me with them.

I also need to add The Prestige to my list. It's Wolverine vs. Batman.

Reign of Fire - Since I'm now on my Christian Bale list. I LOVED that movie. I don't watch it very often, but it's a lot of fun. I almost didn't recognize Matthew McConaughy (I know I must have misspelled his name) until about his third scene.

I just realized why my wife loves Reign of Fire as much as I do. She has a thing for Christian Bale, Matthew McConaughey (I cheated so I know I spelled it right that time), and Gerard Butler.

Great one!!! Not much people know it... There's a theatre in London where they show it and you can go disguised and dance... I'd love to go!

Mine:

Lord of the Rings
Star Wars (the old ones)
Moulin Rouge
Amelie
The others
The silence of the lambs
The shining (amazing, I was so tense during the film)
Sweetney Todd
Before sunrise
Bridget Jones's Diary
The Lion King
Up
Wall-E

I should stop!! Blush

That happens pretty much happens at every screening here. The Official RHPS fan page participation section has a whole list of proper costumes, props, and etiquette. It's always an experience.
My daughter (who was then 4 1/2) watched it for the first time on TV last October. In a few years, I plan to take her to her first screening. Probably around the time she's 10.

I also loved Pulp Fiction and The Usual Suspects. I would also add Fight Club to my list.

Gah! I can't believe I forgot Fight Club! I watch it at least twice a year.

Maybe it's because the first rule of Fight Club is that you DO NOT talk about Fight Club... Big Grin

Really? You like the Star Trek movies? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching them, but I can't say I like most of them. What's the rule? The even numbered ones are good?

If you really enjoyed the first Matrix film...I'd probably stay away from the sequels. It is cool to see Neo flying around though.

RE: Favourite films?
Bertowud, I think you are probably right about the evened numbered Star trek films, now I think about it !! Wasn't the first one nicknamed the Slow-motion picture or something like that. Can't watch the matrix sequels..... just found out that my husband took them to the Charity Shop Sad good job I've hidden the Spooks DVDs Smile
Liked the Lord of the Rings, but not as good as the books !

I think he did you a favor. Really. And I like the sequels more than most of the people I know.

LOTR was good. You just have to keep in mind that they're not the books. I'm really interested to see what Guillermo del Toro will do with the Hobbit as a 2 parter.
