I think we'll get it. It seems promising, and if we do, I think we might go so far as to say that it will be the main romantic relationship of Spooks.

I'm sad too though But we did avoid the love triangle, Silktie - it's not all bad!

Harry is crying but smiling for a reason. We also have not had the Ruth clip from the main titles yet. I know I have gone on about that before and most people didnt agree with me but it still looks like someone is saying something significant to her for her to stop and turn round

As Malcolm once said though perhaps I am just talking myself into optimism.

Yes, thank God for small mercies. I must say, though, that we got more than I thought we would in season 8. After PF's dire predictions of the relationship being ignored by the writers, I didn't expect to see Ruth asking Harry out for a drink, or touching his hand to comfort him, or even to hear Harry tell Ruth that he needed her there to remind him not to lose his humanity. So yes, definitely not all bad!

I never came down on the fence about that. I also agree that we haven't seen anything like that, but it could be a deleted scene so that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Yeah, fingers crossed. There should be a smiley for that.

Noooo...actually I know this probably isnt the right thread but there are lots of clips in the opening titles that we havnt seen yet so you may be on to something there JHyde. I actually thought it was Malcolm defusing a bomb but that cant be so now.

They'll be OK. Even if they do blow them up (literally or figuratively as a couple) I think we'll see some happy H/R in between other stuff, should we get a season 9.

As Silktie said, I'm not expecting too much, but I do hope there's something, something that make me smile (I liked that) I am tempted to read Ian Wylie's blog but I won't.

At least it doesn't give away the best lines of the episode. It's more about who we get to spend time with over the hour. There's also an interview with HN.
