Adam and Ros

RE: Adam and Ros
Ros was fed up with Britain "bending over" for the Americans, and was fed up with America bullying the rest of the world into submission.

In my eyes they are both as bad as each other, and it's unfair of people to condem Ros for betrayal when Adam committed and equal act of betrayal.

RE: Adam and Ros
Yeah, but Adam didn't utterly wreck Ruth and Harry's relationship, did he?

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

I think Yalta/the Russian experience changed Ros. In S7 ep1 when Ros returned home, she was so keen to see Adam again that she was continually mentioning his name to Connie. She was like a schoolgirl with a first love. She had that brief moment of anger in ep 2 and was obviously lying to Harry when she said she had got over him. She then did what she probably is used to doing with her emotions and buried them. But there also seemed to be a sadness about her for the rest of the series.

In 6.9 Adam told Bakshi he loved Ros but we don't know whether those feelings continued. We do know that Harry didn't trust Adam to know that Ros was in Russia and he seemed pleased to see her again when they met briefly in 7.1.

I may be a hopeless romantic but I like to think that they could have had a good (if unconventional) relationship. Ahhhh.... Heart

Adam's "betrayal" and Ros's "betrayalS" don't stack up. She has more to answer for then he does.

Have to wonder if Adam ever asked about Ros. When did he tell Bakshi he loved Ros? Did I miss something? Anyway, I don't think he loved Ros that much with regards to his dealings with Ana. I think Ros was something on the backburner Undecided

RE: Adam and Ros
Adam
Tried to bring down the government by selling the tehran bomb story to a journalist who would undoubtedly sell it to a major paper.

Ros
Gave secrets to a secret organisation in return for intelligence which would protect the UK from attack.

If anything Ros betrayed America more than the UK. She only ever had the UK's interests at heart.

Wasn't Ros the reason why Ruth had to leave? She blamed Harry for her dad and found a way to get back at him.

Ruth left to protect Harry. Ros helped Ruth to fake her own death, because Harry was determined to save her by giving himself up as the conspiritor.

Right, but her initial thought was to get back at Harry and that set the ball in motion

RE: Adam and Ros
I fail to recall Ros stimulating any kind of action from Harry with regard to Ruth's arrest.
