You're thinking of the woman Ros and Harry cornered with Khordhat in 7.3? I think, in the CIA building. O'Reilly's been blond for as long as I've seen her in things, and she only appears in one scene briefly, before leaving and Harry confronting the Home Secretary about "rain from heaven".

Yes that's the woman I was thinking of, thanks. Don't recall the woman tipping off the HS.

Yes, I'm slightly worried about Malcolm. Please don't let him leave the show, I love him! Plus, there is such a bond of trust between Harry and Malcolm, I feel it would take something away from the show if we lost that. I would seriously miss Malcolm's dry comments if he ever left.

Oh, I hope that Malcolm does not go anywhere - there is room on this show for two techno geeks. It would be nice to see them bouncing ideas and theories off each other in that techy terminology. The Malcolm character is the conscience of the show in my opinion. I loved how Lucas instantly acknowledged what a nice man Malcolm was when he came back on the show and instantly rekindled his friendship with him. Malcolm is the type of character imho that holds the 'family' feeling of the agents together.

yeah it would really be a pity if malcolm would leave the show (same for Harry) and a second technology guy would be well, (although, hard to replace colin).
Unfortunately if a new person comes, it is very often before an old one goes for some reason. it has been done so many times before.... Jo comes in, fiona leaves two episodes later, Lucas comes in, at the end of the same episode Adam goes, adam was called in in series three, following episode Tom goes, zaf is called to help, danny goes... so it is very likely that one of the characters goes, if there is a new tech guy, it really might be Malcolm, or who knows, someone else... it would really be a pity to see Malcolm go, but if there is one thing certain in spooks (and that helps to make the show such a high level one) is that you never know for sure if someone will stay or not.... well, al this chatter makes me want to see even more the new series.... can't wait...

Bollocks. I'm so sorry, but what I posted about Genevieve O'Reilly isn't correct. She hasn't actually appeared in Spooks Season 7.

I saw her credited on her imdb account as Spooks Seven some months ago when I heard she was on the show this year and went excitedly searching. I thought she looked different from when she was on stage some 6 years ago, and contacted her management, and they said yes, it was her. When the name of the character was released in these new articles, I noticed it was a different name given from the one introduced by the Home Secretary.

Turns out I was passed a turkey by someone who couldn't be stuffed themselves. (I like puns, what can I say?) In any case, I complained about it, and I hang my head in shame for misleading you all. The moral of the story is, as we all already know: never trust imdb or wiki. You'd think I'd get it right after contacting her damn team!
