[spoilers] Favourite Episode?
I was wondering which episodes over all the series people thought were the best? Now I have watched all the series back to back twice I think I may just watch the best ones on occasion and wondered which ones to choose!
I think my favourite episode has to be series 6 episode 10 but series 3 episode 5 is a close runner up
Death by mascara. It was horrible to watch. Ruth's agonizing over the fact that there are no more horses in modern-day warfare and Adam's on a course learning how to lift his knuckles off the ground. So, you'll have to make do with me, I'm afraid. |

RE: Favourite Episode?
Interesting choices. Reasons why?
I've changed the title of this thread so that we can talk about episodes that have aired on *BBC1* without worrying about the spoiler tags. I'm a big fan of 4.9 and 4.10, wonderfully directed, performed, written and edited. Great storylines for all people involved. 5.3 is also very special (the dinner scene, and Ros and Zaf's first working experience), 7.7 and 7.8 (so fabulous, big suspenseful stories) and 8.1. I know that last one might be controversial. But I suspect it will stand up in the long term, hard though it is for us die-hard Harry/Ruth fans. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: [spoilers] Favourite Episode?
My favourite episode has to be either 7.7 just becasue it is so shocking or 3.10 because I think Danny's death was the best of all Spooks!!!
Which one is series 3 ep 5 again? That didn't seem to be one that stood out to me? Hang on I will go search it lol |

RE: [spoilers] Favourite Episode?
Series 3 Ep 5 is the one where Danny has to kill that guy on the ferry. I had so many favourite moments in that one, like the interactions between Danny and Zoe, Ruth's stalking of that man (whch I actually found a little strange haha) and when Danny goes to kill him, the contrast between the church with malcolm and ruth and then danny with that amazing music ( Mozart's reqieum really gets me going ) Also at the end when Zoe goes and sees Will. Amazing acting!!
Danny's death is awesome! I love the really sad bit with Ruth at the end!! And I chose 6.7 because of the amazing storyline that was built up to the climax of that episode, all of the very tense scenes between Ros and Adam and of course the return of Juliet!!

RE: [spoilers] Favourite Episode?
TOP 10
1.2 - Helen's death was the moment that sold me on the show. 2.5 - The tension throughout this episode kept me on the edge of my bed. I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. And it ended up being the beginning of the end for Tom. 2.10 - The final ten minutes were absolutely breathtaking. Maybe the best directed episode of the show. 3.1 - This episode has grown the most in my eyes. Adam's introduction is absolutely brilliant, and the final scene between he and Carmen Joyce may be one of the finest scenes the show has ever crafted. 4.10 - The acting in this episode was absolutely top notch. Angela Wells is the best one-shot character EVER. And the big twist at the end, leading to Adam being shot left me speechless. 6.2 - The twists and turns, the roundup of the spies, Adam's decision to leave Jo behind, etc. This episode had absolutely everything, and it setup the season arcs so wonderfully. 6.8 - Maybe the single most intense episode of the show. Seeing Harry out in the field was just plain awesome. 7.1 - Adam's death was a tragically heroic, and beautifully executed, sequence. The entire episode was just perfectly executed. 7.7 - Lucas in Moscow, the escalating revelation of the Sugarhorse mole, Ben's sudden death. Just a great episode and a wonderful setup to the finale. 7.8 - Lucas, Ros, and Connie dodging the FSB through London's underground was just plain thrilling. Thanks Tyger! |

All good choices but if you had to pick one, which would it be? Haha very tough I know!
I have also realised the episode I mean is series 6 episode 8! I seriously don't know what goes on in my head sometimes lol I got it wrong twice Both times differently!? I confuse myself so very easily haha

RE: [spoilers] Favourite Episode?
Hmmmm.....
I'd probably go with 4.10, "Diana". It really had everything: a proactive Ruth, Adam at his best, Zaf at his Zaf-iest, a great villain, twists aplenty, mounting tension. Everything. Thanks Tyger! |

RE: [spoilers] Favourite Episode?
For me I have to go with 7.7, 7.8 and 8.4 purely for Lucas related reasons. Hopefully will be back on Wed to add 8.8 to my favourites but only if Sarah dies........
