Adam/Ros storyline

ive just started s6 bout to go onto ep 2! i found it rather rushed there relationsip! there we are end of s5 with adam falling appart, and suddenly ew have moved on a few weeks and they are together (athough i dont think they know others are aware of them being together). i saw it comming like but it just seemed rushed! and she is rather jeliouse as we can see in s6 ep 1 when he is on the phone and the look she gives him. both are quite closed off at times adam especialy and come accross as cold. but reading this thread i assume and guessed it wouldnt last long! bevcause adam needs more problems

and yes i am also blinded by his hotness!

Frankly, Adam would have needed a few months in therapy at the very least for PTSD in order to get better. I also think that there are other things that seemed to have taken place over a longer period of time. Like Wes is now in boarding school. Zaf is clearly on an undercover op that took some time to establish - deep cover. That doesn't just happen in a few weeks. Plus Adam's set up with Anna - another relationship that would have taken time to build.

I also don't think Adam and Ros were ever strictly a couple. I think it was more an every now and then thing, but that Ros would have liked it to be more and more often. Sometimes Adam too. Such an arrangement is much more believable.

i agree actualy now im thinking about it, its more casualy than a strict relationship! but i get the feeling she is a little possessive (not hugley). perhaps it is longer, but it isnt established! i can see why wes is in bording school to. Harry says last few psych reports! i just find it odd thats all.

but i do thik this relationship what ever it is is better for them both than say adam and the nanny which was just daft! i certainly dont think he is better thats for sure

I think losing Fi and going through the PTSD made him more reckless. More prepared to die.

im thinking for some reason its made him more selfish? if you know what i mean, he dosent think about Wes, but is always first to sign up for the risky missions. i think that has got worse as s4 turned into s5 and so on. but i think he is still even in ep 1 of s6 suffering from not specificaly flashbacks but coping with the stress and anxiety

And although I don't see Adam and Ros as a couple per se, you only need to look at the scene

to see that they cared for each other deeply.

I love the beginning of s6 - perfect for Adam and Ros' relationship you know like casual no questions asked they are together and its just like a natural progression.

I think it was a good way of developing the chemistry of s5 into a relationship with all the lovey dovey stuff taking up screen time.

I'm on ep 6 of s6 tere is no doubt in rp 5 how much she cares for him (and lots of naked rpj who can blame here)

I mentioned this over here, but for me a crucial moment between the two of them is when they're drowning under the Thames Barrier, and Ros starts panicking, and Adam just puts his hands to her face to soothe her.

yeah that is a lovely scene, she is so controled at times but at times when something like that happens, or she is hurt or saving adam or anyone else she shows her emotions! i do get the impression with them both though that they are waiting for the other to make the first move
