C'mon! That awful line about "I was hoping for something a bit sexier". Ewwwww.......and I don't buy that Ros was interested in him that way at all. Maybe I just know too many guys like that, you can have them.

I think she was touched (pardon the pun) by him at the end of 8.8, and I did find what he said in the hallway about sacking Harry very funny, but still......

It's not the character himself, is the actor... Love his smile. I'm not being objective! I know Big Grin

We haven't seen much of him, so if he survives we'll see how is he like...

But It's not believable that Ros likes him, I'm not buying either...

Send the new HS to the dentist then pull his eyes apart a bit and I'll consider revising my original opinion on him looks wise. It must be difficult for the men in this series having to compete with RA tho Big Grin

Besides you can't help but feel sorry for him by the end of 8.8 after everything in 8.7 and early 8.8.

Bless, leave the new HS alone. He's only a baby and obviously likes the older woman. I liked his lines and didnt feel he was a letch. He was only flirting with a single woman so there was no harm done. Anyway I would rather have him letching over me than Blake !

Of the regular cast, I'd go for Ruth, as she's the only character that showed real character development through the run of the series.

Guest character I'm going for Nicholas Blake, the previous HS. He had really good scenes with Harry & Ros, and a strong, dignified exit.
