RE: Met anyone famous?
No, I never really understood football and drifted away from it. It's no good unless you're actually in the crowd...

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

I met Matthew Macfadyen. Well, not actually "met" because he was standing at the bar where he later performed on stage and for a brief moment I stood right next to him. Couldn't say a word.

Also met Allison Sudol from A Fine Frenzy at a concert. She signed a CD for me Smile

*is jealous*

Found out yesterday that my mum's been in the same room as the Dalai Lama, which is pretty cool Smile

Met David Tennant and Patrick Stewart last year when they were doing Hamlet at Stratford. Loitered with intent backstage and managed to get their autographs. David Tennant is seriously tall!

I have a friend who was on the team that was taking care of the Dalai Lama at one of his speaking engagements. He actually got to be on the stage with him.

I've met Mark Ramprakash Smile

But he's too important to take the lid off his pen.

Barbara Bach and D Hasselhof, when at the MIP-TV in Cannes in 2000.
Alanis Morissette in Ottawa when she was 16 (1995 or so), driving a Burgundy Golf Cabriolet and sending songs to some LA producer with my company, and then bumped into her a second time at a bistro terrace in Paris 10 years later. She did remember pretty much the whole team in Ottawa... except me !
Jean Reno several times. We were neighbours for a while.
Sting in Greve In Chianti, the Tuscany village where he lived (I didn't recognize him at first, but his wife & him were the only other customers in the village restaurant, so finally it dug in)

RE: Met anyone famous?
Um I met a few of the original Gladiators when I lived in Northern Ireland.
Zoe Tyler lives in the same village as me (but isn't that nice)
One of my best friends is closely related to Chris Martin from Coldplay and thus Gwyneth Paltrow

LUCAS:They told me I could come home if I spied for them
HARRY:What did you say?
LUCAS:I said yes
