Met anyone famous?

I've met Hil Harper of CSI: NY and Tatyana Ali before, both at different events.

I think I also met Richard Gere too once. I'm not completely certain though- the reason is we were both walking in opposite directions and said hi to each other. A little later, I was thinking "was that Richard Gere???" To this day I still wonder...

I used to present the Breakfast Show on Radio One in the Middle East so I met loads during my time there and on other radio stations....um let me think..

interviewed the following... Cliff Richard, Adam Faith, Paul Merton, Tony Slattery, Rik Mayall, Usher, David Beckham, Dido, Westlife (all of them)

worked with..... Barry White, Nick Ross, Jill Dando, Phillip Schofield, Sarah Green, Tom Jones (shared a dressing room!!), Bryan Adams, Paul Daniels (hideous man!)

Partied with... Marti Pellow, Bono, Girls Aloud, Cameron Mackinstosh and um.. Alan Titchmarsh!!!!

Does that mean you may have other BBC Connexions, like in the Drama department for instance...?

I shook the hand of Princess Dianna, briefly, she was visiting our town and came to greet the crowds at the railway station. (does that count?)
When in London a few years ago, got my Mum to go to the backstage entrance and wait with me, and was handsomely rewarded, chatted to Peter Bowles (To The Manor Born) a lovely guy, and Dame Judy Dench, she was lovely too, very kind, very small too.
Also met Steve Davis and Jimmy White (snooker players) and anyone remember Lewis Collins from the Professionals, bumped into him at Heathrow! Quite a few of the actors from Cori and Emerdale live near, so see them around too!

sorry L/V, I don;t work at the Beeb anymore, when I did I worked in TV as a researcher in docs, music & arts and science and features, never drama sadly and then I moved into radio after that....
