RE: Met anyone famous?
It was brilliant - she was so lovely! It basically involved me and another Spooks fan gushing over how much we loved Ruth, and the Ruth/Harry relationship

RE: Met anyone famous?
Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones punched my mum and I once worked with a bloke who swore blind to a one night stand with a former Spooks actress.... this may be the most surreal thing I've ever typed!

That's funny. My dad's name is Ronnie Wood. I didn't realize Ronnie Wood was part of Rolling Stones until recently.

RE: Met anyone famous?
I met David Bowie years ago at an auction house (he was bidding on an oak dresser),met Ciaran Hinds in london,he was really kind and nice to talk to,met Martin Shaw and he was a little wet and in a rush,Trevor Eve at a charity event and he was more interested in my friend, met Lynda La Plante at a book signing,Paul O Grady pinched some of my mum's drink once in a bar in london(she got a cocktail and he wanted to know what it tasted like) and my all time favourite memory was meeting David Gilmour or Pink Floyd,we talked for over an hour about music and family,he signed my t-shirt(I litteraly stuck my chest in his face and asked him to sign, lol) and he even bought me a drink while we talked, then I went to see him in london at a showing of his dvd and during the Q&A afterwards he recognised me and waved and as he was leaving he came over and gave me a hug, also when I was 11 and visiting my grandparents in USA I met Richard Dreyfuss and he was really nice and we had a pic taken,I didnt really understood who he was but I realised later of course. My Mum met loads of bands and artist's from the seventies as she worked for Showaddywaddy.

RE: Met anyone famous?
I met the DJ Alan "fluff" Freeman in 1983 (well strickly speaking, i was in my mum's stomach a the time He patted her stomach)
Gaby Roslin, Andy Crane and Neil Buchanan when i was in the audience for Motormouth at the age of 7. Roslin was a bit rude but the other two were lovely Les Hill (he played Blake in Home and Away) in 1992 Noel Feilding and Julian Barratt at a book signing in Brighton Jimmy Carr (lovely guy) Greg Davies, he waved a burger in my face at the Pleasance Courtyard in Edinburgh, telling me i should try them. I also met James Bachman and Tim Key in Edinburgh, nice guys I spoke to Reece Sheersmith for a couple of seconds, well my friend did most of the talking i just said hello and giggled like a school girl. I have also met Andy from Bellowhead. nice guy The radio presenter and broadcaster Jon Holmes is also lovely. I've met him a few times. I stood behind Jarvis Cocker in a queue at a festival a few years ago. I Was too nervous to speak to him. |

RE: Met anyone famous?
Please don't laugh. I met Ricky Martin in Barcelona. (Years ago, before he came out.) Got a pic and full on lip lock kiss too and was convinced he was the most straight, sex god EVER. See how wrong I can be!!! He was gorgeous in person though, real twinkling eyes and cute smile, very, very shy. Nice and genuine too, real bear hug.
I've also met Neil Kinnock on Westminster bridge, but that pales in comparison And I've stood next to Pasty Palmer at the crossing in Oxford Street opposite Top Shop. I did have a look out for Rickyyyyyyyyyy too! |
