Harry RE: Met anyone famous?
Met Peter Krause (formerly of SportsNight and Six Feet Under, currently on Parenthood.) He was the Best Man at his brother's wedding, and said brother was my hubby's college roommate. He was nice but quiet.

Met the lads of Barenaked Ladies - actually chatted with Ed Robertson for quite some time and have a picture of us together. My friend got us backstage passes so that's how we met Ed, Tyler Stewart and Kevin Hearn. After that ended, we waited outside by the bus and then met Jim Creegan briefly, then Ed can through the line and stopped to chat with us some more. Beautiful blue eyes and so very nice and sweet.

Met the previous Duke of Northumberland when I lived at Alnwick Castle for school. A group of us went to sing Christmas carols for his family (it was tradition the students had been doing for years) and then we were invited in for tea and biscuits. A nice way to spend Christmas Eve when you are living on another continent away from home. :-)

Zaf: "Shouldn't you be in prison or something?"
Ros: "This is the something."

RE: Met anyone famous?
I work in William and Kate's local shop on Anglesey so I see them once every few weeks. When William first came in I totally froze up (so embarrasing) but I think they even know who I am now which is exciting.

I saw Michael Gambon outside St. Pancras when I was waiting for a friend and had to restrain myself from yelling 'DUMBLEDORE!!'

I also met Ellie Goulding, Chris Moyles, Scott Mills and most of the radio 1 presenters at Radio One's Big Weekend in Bangor and had my picture taken with Aled, that was awesome!

I would have yelled that and then begged him to tell me a story or read something to me, I love his voice!!! Big Grin

RE: Met anyone famous?
Nearly all the people I've met who are remotely famous have been in, shall we say, autograph situations, or at events or conventions.

Among them, are Sir Patrick Moore (this was several years ago, and he didn't sign his autographs, he had a rubber stamp!), Henry Blofeld (cricket commentator), Paul Cornell (writer), Louise Jameson (actress), various other Doctor Who actors and actresses including Terry Molloy, Sylvester McCoy, Colin Baker, Sophie Aldred and Colin Baker. Oh and Jason Carter from Babylon 5 - he's insane!

In everday, meeting on the street....um....I once walked past Keith Chegwin in Newbury high street. Blush
