OK, now that I'm up to date, "ultimate betrayal" could have something to do with the previous HS who seems to be coming back for awhile . . .

Big Grin you know that only one cow/bull is sacred to me (and even that one I'd slaughter for a good grin Big Grin)

as for HS betrayal - if the rumours are true that Robert Glenister is back if only for an episode or two.. it's a distinct but possibililty. Though it wouldn't be the "ultimate" betrayal..
Another explanation would be that the producers are trying to keep us hooked (coals to Newcastle, anyone?) and just yanking our chain... and that it'll turn out to be not nearly a betrayal of the magnitude we're thinking about... and too many still suspect Lucas to be a sleeper/turn-coat for it to be a HUGE shock were it to happen.. whereas Harry or Ruth (and I'm not having any beef with them, sacred or otherwise Tongue) would fit the "ultimate" label perfectly (personally I can't see it being Ruth, giving her character.. unless she's the über-actress).
go and compute the implications Big Grin

I didn't realise there were any rumours that Robert Glennister was going back into Spooks for a bit, that would be really good i loved him.

RE: SpooksWatch 2010
Ian Wylie is generally pretty spot on so it's likely what he has said is correct.

Maybe it could be that a couple of the new characters will appear at the start of the Season and get replaced later on. My feeling is that Ros will have survived the bomb blast but then immediately get written out. With what we knowof the number pf new cast members it's unlikely she's remaining.

Probably a minority of 1 but I'm still not convinced Connie is dead!!!!!!

So we're definitely getting 8 episodes.

the though had occurred to me too but even with the dodgy clocks in Spooks, it's unlikely she made it to the nearest sheltering corner.. even I could outrun her Big Grin Big Grin
she might have left some sort of legacy though, sneaky old bat.

Connie being alive would be a good twist but I can't imagine how could she survive the explosion either.

Maybe she was part of something else, a minor operation that's gained power over the years and she didn't care to mention... Or she's been changing information or facts in MI5 files over the years and that's how this season everyone looks guilty/can't be trusted.

Really like that idea! It would mean we don't have to have any favourite characters as the 'ultimate betrayal'.

As much as it really could be Lucas who betrays the team I think it would be a bit obvious (not being biased thereSilba) but then again maybe that's the point, it's so obvious it comes as a shock?

LUCAS:They told me I could come home if I spied for them
HARRY:What did you say?
LUCAS:I said yes

RE: SpooksWatch 2010
You don't think it might be a case of someone's whole country betraying them? I'd say that's pretty 'ultimate'...

RE: SpooksWatch 2010
Guys, this thread has been drifting off a bit for a while, so please keep the discussion about filming in some location around London or other place. We can discuss plots or storylines in the thread Storylines for series 9.

So, has anybody spot some filming recently?
