I think the exact opposite. I think Ros is dead, and the new Home Sec is alive. My belief is that the writers went through too much trouble setting up his character, then revealing that he was innocent, to just off him so quickly.

Something tells me they're going to give Ros a heroic send-off by confirming that she saved the Home Sec at the cost of her own life.

Hmmm, Adam Carter, who do you think the stunt double is for then or perhaps it is not a stunt double?

RE: Storylines for series 9
if it's not a stunt double but a new character she'd be too much like Ros.. at least physically.

Personally I think Ros is irreplaceable. If they're going for another woman in a senior position, she needs to be the opposite of Ros.

Has anyone considered the idea that the blonde woman (if she isn't a stunt double for Ros, and is in fact a new character) might not be saving Harry, but trying to harm him...?

hmmm... considering.... apart from there being hints that he gets shot, not stabbed with a stiletto - I think we should give old Harry some credit. The skinny blonde would have to have major mad ninja skillz to owerpower him. I think even in the afternoon of his life he still kicks some derrière if necessary.
But maybe she has succumbed to his animal magnetism and just wants to steal a snog Tongue

That is so funny TB. Smile Have we ever seen Ros in stiletto's ??

She is definitely running at him to push him away from something. She's not grabbing the bag but getting him out of the way. That surely can only be from a gunshot. A bit like when that bloke tried to shoot Prince Charles with a shooting pistol down under. Charles' body guard shoulder barged him out of the way to get him out of the line of fire.

Anyway, if the BBC follows their normal pattern (not holding breath) we should get a press release soon. It's usually March/April time. If there is a new female character as some people suggest, we will then know what she looks like and whether she does in fact look like the woman jumping on Harry.....

I'm going to be really mad if it's Ros and they kill her off in the first episode.

Rooftop scene:
Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away.
Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!"

Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas."

RE: Storylines for series 9

RE: Storylines for series 9
I wouldnt have thought they would have Ros survive the explosion to only kill her off at the end of 9.1. What would be the point in that unless it's to catch us off guard. We wouldnt be expecting that would we....Mmmmmm?? If shes in series 9, I would imagine her to be in it for a large part of the series. Actually I think that's more me hoping than anything else.
