RE: Weird and Wonderful stories from around the World
I really hope this doesn't piss anyone off, but I find it humorous. Kind of supports Spooks' view of Americans as selfish and arrogant - except for this one guy. For those that may not be familiar with The Onion, it is supposed to be satirical.
http://www.theonion.com/articles/nations...ble,17553/ For the record, while I will not be getting up early to watch, I will be rooting for the USA under-dogs with my 9 year old who is showing signs of being a very talented goalie. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |

And more on the vague Shrek theme introduced by Lukyan Lyubof.
As if it weren't bad enough they are poisoning our kids with sodium and fat content. They haven't heard of product testing I suppose. http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-06...ate2-.html (04-06-2010 05:29 PM)Aria Wrote: (Just heard the news about Rio Ferdinand, I am seriously gutted ) Yeah, poor guy. Bad luck. As sorry as I feel for him, lord knows the US team can use all the help they can get tomorrow against England. Its all about defense for us. 8:30am - I'll be there!
