That was earlier this year. Dick Grayson is Batman now. Jason Todd is his Joker...sorta.

RE: Harry's like Batman
Either way it's not Bruce Wayne! (I didn't read it until this year.)

I'm just not sure Harry could really have the time to swoop down and save people from bag snatchers. He's always been involved in the bigger picture. But then again, he's not one to turn a blind eye to one individual in trouble.
Spoiler: show
Which made his roundabout turn in 8.2 all the more troubling. So glad he saw sense.

It was a joke Wink Although if you do feel it's a good rule to get put up... Wink

I thought that Heath Ledger was the Joker? Or are you talking about the comics?

RE: Harry's like Batman
I'm not 100% convinced on David Tennant as Harrys Nemesis I just don't think he's menacing enough. Jeremy Irons maybe or Bill Nighy, although I am seiously leaning towards Terrance Stamp, but Ben Kingsly or Anthony Hopkins would do at a push. All of these guys are old enough to have been a thorn in the side for a good few decades.

RE: Harry's like Batman
I think David Tennant does have the manic factor though, which can make him quite scary. Certainly a suitable nemesis for Harry in that respect.

Thanks Silktie.

I can't remember which episode, or even which series but, the scene where Harry channeled James Bond in the shower scene from Casino Royale was hilarious. If we see any references to Batman in series 9, we know who to blame. (I'm looking at you bertowud. Tongue )

Rooftop scene:
Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away.
Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!"

Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas."

RE: Harry's like Batman
Me thinks there's a slight bias towards David Tennant here Wink. Is it a case of as many of our favourite actors on the screen at the same time?
Only joking almh, with your knowledge of Spooks I'm sure your nemesis would be miles better than any of mineSmile.

I think I'm making it pretty obvious I'm a Who fan Wink

Nah, I'm not too good at the whole imagination stuff. I just chuck out ideas until I find a good one. Wink

??? Harry channelled James Bond? Why do I always feel like I'm on a different planet when I read this thread?...

RE: Harry's like Batman
I suggested the Riddler because he's very articulate and brainy and I've always imagined him as English. I was kidding about David Tennant, he's put himself up for the role in the third Nolan movie.

Who would I cast as Harry's nemesis? Good question to ponder.
