RE: Ashes to Ashes
I thought it was a great episode
Series 3 Ashes to Ashes Spoiler: show
so... Alex was in a coma in her real coma, twisted!
Very interesting this new guy... He's going to mess things up a bit. And it seems we're going to find out what happen to Sam
So we have to wait 2 weeks to see how this develops Sad

Is the BBC3 airing episodes before BBC1 as in Spooks?

Good line there, Nitrus, I should change mine hmmmm

RE: Ashes to Ashes
Have now watched it again sober and I was right, it was really good. I dont think they are showing the next episode on BBC3. They didnt announce it at the end of the show like they usually do anyway.

Spoiler: show
I was a bit confused as to whether Alex was really awake or not at the start as she mentioned sending Molly away. Also are we supposed to now be thinking that Gene is somehow a bad guy and Jim is the good guy. I think they were trying to link Gene and Sam to that dead policeman who kept showing up looking a bit pale with lipstick on the side of his face.

I loved Shaz in this episode and the Queen Under Pressure music used, as well as the Police song at the end.

RE: Ashes to Ashes
Loved the ep, but am so annoyed about the bloody golf interrupting it all! Why no put thestupid sport on BBC 2, I am sure not that many people watch it! And if the BBC knew about the golf then why not simply delay the start so it started two weeks later/ or earlier and there were no interruptions. this way people mighht forget about it or not get into it the same grrr

haha I will end my rant there!! Great set up ep now can't wait to see what the series will reveal Tongue Loved all the funny one liners as usual and Daniel Mays was excellent Big Grin

RE: Ashes to Ashes
The first laugh in the sequence ('your guess is as good as mine') was so funny and they followed well. Classic Hunt.

Spoiler: show
I'm loving that Keats is all about the bad in Hunt. Based on that first episode, I mean. For all that I love Hunt, he's also a lot of bad things, and I'll be interested to see where they take all that.

Ha I think my favourite line was
'someone who's done time? Well that narrows it down to half of planet Earth and the whole of Sunderland' Tongue I do love Gene Hunt.

RE: Ashes to Ashes
That was one of my fave laughs. Also, my sister and I have now started referring to each other as 'nags' which is terrible. But hey, she's my sister.

RE: Ashes to Ashes
Just in case I confused anyone, episode 2 of Ashes to Ashes is being shown this Friday on BBC1. As I was watching episode 1 on the BBC HD channel, it was this channel that is not showing Ashes to Ashes on Friday because of the golf. Hope that is clear. Doh !!
