What I still don't understand is, why are none of the media organisations asking why it took two weeks to find him and who let it be known who he works for? While I am no expert, a crime of passion is commited in the heat of the moment. You wouldn't then put the body in a bag before leaving the flat. I doubt we will ever really know what has gone on here. |

Why wouldn't you put the body in a bag after the murder? Sure, a crime of passion is very much heat of the moment and messy. But after the fact the killer may come to their senses, realise what they've done and try to cover it up.
Working for MI6 would be the perfect cover for exactly that. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

Hiding it in a bag and putting it in the bath, is not going to make finding the body any more difficult when it is in that person's own flat. The body would surely only be in a bag if it had been moved from somewhere else. IMO. |

You're speaking as a rational, logical person who hasn't just killed someone though. In a flurry of panic that might seem like a very good solution to a problem.

Even if it is in a bag, bodies get ripe rather quickly and somebody would have noticed. Trust me. All facts about homicides are not put in the papers for obvious reasons... |

I'm turning this into a general 'real-life spy stories' discussion thread. Rather than just about the russian incident. Think it'll work better.

RE: Real-life Espionage Incidents Discussion
One of the suspects in this plot auditioned for ... Canadian Idol in 2008!
http://www.cbc.ca/arts/media/blogs/popcu...ition.html The funny thing is that he is disappointed that Ben Mulroney (the host) is not there...Ben Mulroney is the son of former PM Brian Mulroney...maybe there was some sort of hidden message in that piece that he tipped off his co-conspirators...If I can't give Ben my hat, it's on.... I'm just gonna go to hide under the covers now...'cause it's just too complicated Thank you TygerBright for my fantastic av & sig! |
