is it just me or does anyone else think this is what Maya may have looked like 8 or 9 years ago?

Well, that was all a bit dramatic! On the H/R front, I felt we got closer to seeing a way forward for them, at least they're starting to talk about the issues that stand between them. I'd like to think that this week's episode gets us a step closer to them opening up to each other fully, could this come at the end of next week's finale, that's if they both see off Lucas? In my view that would be great symmetry for S9, to start with Ruth saying no to Harry's proposal and ending up with them finally 'together'. All us H/R fans care too much about these 2 to settle for anything less Wink

Can't go on, must go on

Lucas RE: Series 9 Episode 7 discussion
erm... anyone notice something slightly odd about the mobile phone Lucus (John) used to blow up the embassy in Dakar?

This was in 1995, right? Did they really have mobile phones like that in 1995?

I am prepared to stand corrected!

I'm not sure he's dead either, watchstrap.

Also as per the discussion on the speculation thread, Harry was like a dog with a bone about who was allegedly behind Lucas and Vaughn's black ops in Dakar. He pressed Lucas on the subject quite hard - almost as if he believed that part of Lucas's story was entirely plausible. I'm sure Harry knows something.

Lucas: "So, do you want some psychological advice of incredible depth and subtlety?"
Dimitri: "Always"
Lucas: "Go get a skinfull. Start again tomorrow"

I really don't see why Maya would want to be with him after all of this. He obviously isn't the man she knew either.

RE: Series 9 Episode 7 discussion
I'm with you guys, I don't want Vaughn dead. He and Harry have got some splainin' to do.

Remember he said that it's not when the knife goes in that kills you, it's when the knife comes out. Knife still in means he may have retained enough blood but will Lucas/John call the ambulance this time?

Fatboy, I don't think that looks like Maya at all but I do think she's into this up to her eyeballs and not out of love for our favorite two guys, Lucas and John.

Rooftop scene:
Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away.
Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!"

Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas."
